Quality Engineer

Job Role: Quality Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Circa £40k

Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying highly regulated industries including aerospace, defence, energy and engineering. Due to continued growth, they're seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality systems, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Key Responsbilities

• Maintain and improve quality systems including ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Investigate non-conformances using 8D, 5 Why and Ishikawa methodologies.
• Drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Analyse quality data and support continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain calibration, training and quality documentation systems.
• Support supplier quality activities and new supplier approvals.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120 standards.
• Auditing experience and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Manufacturing or engineering background preferred.
• NADCAP knowledge
