Finance Assistant

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining accurate financial records? Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their growing finance team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, building strong relationships, and contributing to an efficient and well-controlled finance function.
Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.

The role:

Raise and process accurate sales invoices in line with agreed pricing structures, contracts, and terms.
Ensure invoices are issued promptly and correctly.
Maintain and reconcile customer accounts.
Allocate incoming payments accurately against outstanding invoices.
Monitor aged debt and proactively follow up overdue balances.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding payments.
Post cash receipts and reconcile sales ledger accounts.
Support month-end reporting and close activities.
Produce aged debtor reports and other ad hoc financial reports as required.
Assist with audit requests and collaborate with colleagues across the business.Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or credit control environment.
Strong IT skills
Highly organised
Excellent communication skills
