Finance Assistant

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining accurate financial records? Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their growing finance team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, building strong relationships, and contributing to an efficient and well-controlled finance function.
Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.
The role:

• Raise and process accurate sales invoices in line with agreed pricing structures, contracts, and terms.
• Ensure invoices are issued promptly and correctly.
• Maintain and reconcile customer accounts.
• Allocate incoming payments accurately against outstanding invoices.
• Monitor aged debt and proactively follow up overdue balances.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding payments.
• Post cash receipts and reconcile sales ledger accounts.
• Support month-end reporting and close activities.
• Produce aged debtor reports and other ad hoc financial reports as required.
• Assist with audit requests and collaborate with colleagues across the business.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or credit control environment.
• Strong IT skills
• Highly organised
• Excellent communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider finance team.
