Assistant Accountant

Temporary Assistant Accountant Westhill | Immediate Start | Temporary Contract We are currently supporting a fast-paced, growing business in Westhill that requires an experienced and hands-on Assistant Accountant to provide immediate temporary support for an initial period of 3-4 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and can quickly become part of a busy team. The Opportunity Reporting into the finance function, you will take ownership of a range of practical month-end and day-to-day accounting activities across multiple entities. The role will suit someone who is organised, adaptable and comfortable managing a varied workload in a high-change environment. Key Responsibilities Month-end sales invoicing, including proforma invoicing across multiple legal entities Bank reconciliations across global operations Weekly posting and matching of bank data journals Processing credit notes and sales invoice adjustments Accounts Payable support, including payment runs and managing the AP inbox Daily cash allocation activities Processing employee expenses via the web-based expenses system Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc finance and accounting tasks as required About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance position Strong understanding of month-end accounting processes Experience with bank reconciliations, sales invoicing and accounts payable Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills The ability to work independently and hit the ground running A flexible and proactive approach in a fast-moving environment Availability to start at short notice or immediately What's on Offer?
