We’re looking for an Azure Pro-Code Engineer to design, build, and run cloud-native applications and integrations on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work where low-code ends and custom engineering begins: building scalable services, APIs, and automation that extend and complement platforms like Power Platform and Dynamics 365, and delivering robust solutions for complex business needs.
You’ll work closely with architects, product owners, low-code developers, and DevOps engineers to turn requirements into secure, maintainable, production-grade software.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices on Azure.
Build and maintain serverless and event-driven solutions with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs
Develop secure, well-documented REST APIs, and manage them through Azure API Management
Build custom connectors, plugins, PCF components, and APIs that extend Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions
Implement data solutions using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and Azure Data Factory
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Provision and manage infrastructure as code with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
Apply security best practices, including Managed Identities, Key Vault, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and secure‑by‑design principles
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and optimise performance and cost
Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies
Produce technical documentation and share knowledge with the wider team
Contribute to engineering standards, reusable components, and best practices
Required Skills and Experience
Experienced professional software engineering experience, with good experience on Azure
Strong proficiency in Coding & Scripting: Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
Hands‑on experience with core Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, API Management)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication/authorisation (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect), and integration patterns
Experience with CI/CD, Git‑based workflows, and DevOps practices
Experience with infrastructure as code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform)
Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Understanding of cloud security, networking fundamentals, and scalability principles
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience extending Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) with custom code is a plus
Experience with Dynamics 365 plugin or custom workflow development
Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, or Copilot extensibility
Experience with microservices, domain‑driven design, or event‑driven architecture
Frontend experience (React, Angular, or Blazor)
Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
Certifications (Preferred)
