A growing insurance company is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support the design, build and optimisation of its Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cloud infrastructure, landing zones, automation and security best practices across a complex enterprise environment.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
Expertise across Azure services including:
API Management (APIM)
Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity solutions
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform , ARM or Bicep
Expertise in Azure governance, security and best practices
Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure modernisation projects
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancing and security controls
Experience working within regulated enterprise environments
Previous Insurance or Financial Services experience
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles
Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Rate: Up to £700 Per Day (Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Initial 3 Months
Location: London EC3A / WFH Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP (up to 4 weeks notice considered)
