Social Content Creator

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity to join our already established and thriving team as a Social Content Creator, working across our globally loved Joma Jewellery brand.

Working as part of our Social Team and reporting into the Social Media & Influencer Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing Joma Jewellery to life across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Pinterest through creative storytelling, innovative content ideas and engaging platform-first content.

You will make an impact by creating scroll-stopping, trend-led content that grows and engages our ever-evolving social communities. Focusing on meaningful, story-led content, you'll bring our jewellery collections, gifting moments and brand values to life through authentic storytelling and emotional connection, while helping to grow reach, engagement and ecommerce traffic.

From spotting emerging trends and creating reactive content to supporting shoots, events and influencer activity, you'll work closely with the wider Social and Brand Teams to deliver engaging content aligned with our marketing calendar and brand vision.

You'll also play an exciting role in growing our TikTok Shop presence, planning and hosting live shopping sessions that bring our products directly to our social community. You'll confidently present our collections on camera, talk viewers through our products, respond to questions and interactions in real time and create an engaging live shopping experience that supports product discovery and drives sales.

This is a collaborative and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. From capturing content on location and at events to reacting quickly to emerging social trends and presenting live to our TikTok community, you'll have the opportunity to get involved across the full social content journey.

The successful candidate will be social media obsessed, highly creative and always ahead of the latest trends. You'll have a passion for crafting compelling stories that resonate with audiences, alongside the confidence and personality to feel just as comfortable in front of the camera as you do behind it.

The role is Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. You'll enjoy the exciting buzz of our friendly office in Banbury, Oxfordshire three times a week on average with the flexibility to work from home for the remaining two days. This may increase to 5 days a week during peak periods.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

• Create engaging, innovative and relevant social media content both in-house and on location across shoots and events, ensuring all content aligns with the marketing calendar and Joma Jewellery brand guidelines.
• Support the ideation, creation and editing of social content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Pinterest.
• Work closely with the Social and Brand Teams to create engaging, platform-first content designed to grow reach, engagement, community and ecommerce traffic.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends, reacting quickly to relevant moments and creating content that keeps Joma Jewellery at the forefront of the jewellery social space.
• Own the day-to-day planning of the Instagram grid and TikTok content calendar, working closely with the wider Social Team.
• Plan, host and present TikTok Shop live shopping sessions, showcasing our products, engaging with viewers and driving product discovery and sales in real time.
• Develop engaging run-throughs for live sessions, including product highlights, promotions and calls-to-action.
• Use social and TikTok Shop insights, including engagement, viewer retention, conversion and GMV, to help inform future content and live shopping activity.
• Collaborate with the wider Social, Brand and Commerce Teams to ensure consistency across campaigns, launches, promotions and key brand moments.

THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING

• Previous experience within a similar role such as Social Content Creator, Social Media Executive, Presenter or Media Specialist.
• Highly creative with a passion for storytelling, video editing and using innovative social content to bring the Joma Jewellery brand and products to life.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Excellent video editing and post-production skills with experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Naturally trend-aware with the ability to create reactive, engaging and relevant content.
• Great attention to detail with a natural flair for presenting and storytelling.
• Confident and engaging in front of the camera, including presenting both pre-recorded and live content.
• Comfortable behind the camera, capturing, editing and producing high-quality social content.
• Self-motivated, proactive and adaptable with an always-on approach to capturing content opportunities.
• Able to thrive within a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
• Positive, collaborative and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
