Secure Support Engineer

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a customer-facing IT support role, handling support tickets and assisting colleagues with varying levels of seniority and IT proficiency.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Azure, Office 365, and Intune.
• Experience managing platforms within Azure, particularly Azure Virtual Desktops, is preferred.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow and produce clear, concise documentation.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation and work effectively as part of a team.
• We require candidates to meet the UK eligibility and residency conditions stated for the security clearance required for this role: UK single nationality and at least five years UK residency. The posting also describes this as being a British citizen or having been resident in the UK for the past five years.

• Serve as the first point of contact for users in a secure environment, handling a variety of requests and escalating them when needed.
• Provide technical support and input to team projects.
• Create clear, concise reports demonstrating usage of our environments.
• Follow strict processes for data management.
• Support business‑critical systems.
• Work on‑site five days a week and travel to other offices as needed.
• Help maintain a strong security stance by following strict processes and supporting the integrity of our IT services.
• Deploy and operate a variety of systems to help ensure environments are available, secure, and operating as expected.
