Network Security Engineer

Network Security Engineer opportunity - 6 month Contract - Quantitative Technology - London

• Looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with a strong background in designing and operating high-performance, resilient network security infrastructure
• You'll work across a global environment supporting highly technical research and technology operations, with significant ownership across security design, implementation and strategic initiatives
• The focus is on enterprise network security, working closely with Security Architecture and wider infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable and reliable environments
• You'll bring strong experience across enterprise firewalls, particularly Fortinet and Palo Alto, alongside web proxies, traffic inspection and F5 technologies
• A deep understanding of packet inspection, TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS and modern network security principles will be important
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST or CIS, automation/scripting and Privileged Access Management will be highly relevant

This is a technically demanding Network Security opportunity within a high-performance quantitative environment, with genuine scope to influence security architecture, infrastructure and the wider network security roadmap.
