• Supports lawful and secure handling of operational policing data.
• Ensures compliance with the Data Protection Act, UK GDPR, and relevant policing standards.
• Enables cross-system integration between operational, intelligence, and corporate systems.
• Supports data-driven decision making, performance reporting, and predictive analytics initiatives.

They lead a team of data engineers, set technical standards, and work closely with data architects, analysts, data scientists, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.
