Locum Family Engagement Worker

What you'll be doing:

• Engage with families to identify needs and encourage participation in services.
• Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with families.
• Assist families in accessing education, health services, and community resources.
• Work closely with children, young people, and professionals to ensure coordinated support.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and report progress to management.
• Ensure safeguarding and child welfare procedures are followed at all times.
• A genuine passion for improving family outcomes.
• Relevant experience or qualifications in social work, family support, or a related field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Awareness of social, economic, and cultural challenges affecting families in Birmingham.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
