Locum Family Caseworker

What you'll be doing:

• Manage cases and provide one-to-one support to families.
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored case plans.
• Assist families in accessing community services, education, and health resources.
• Work collaboratively with children, young people, and multi-agency professionals.
• Maintain detailed records of case interactions and report progress to management.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and child welfare is prioritised. A genuine passion for supporting families and improving outcomes.
• Relevant experience or qualifications in social work, family support, or a related field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Awareness of social, economic, and cultural challenges affecting families in Birmingham.
