We are supporting a leading energy business with an urgent requirement for an experienced Power Systems & Compliance Engineer to join on an initial 6-month contract.
The role will support a portfolio of UK energy assets, with a focus on power systems, grid compliance and technical assurance.
Contract: 6 months
Location: Remote, with London office presence when required
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
Support grid compliance and technical requirements across a portfolio of energy assets.
Manage requirements relating to grid connections and connection agreements.
Undertake and review power system studies, including load flow, fault level and dynamic assessments.
Liaise with network operators, OEMs and technical consultants.
Review technical studies, modelling and engineering documentation.
Identify compliance gaps and support the implementation of technical solutions.
Assist with regulatory submissions, audits and ongoing compliance activities.
Key Experience
Strong background in power systems engineering and/or grid compliance.
Knowledge of the UK Grid Code and DNO connection requirements.
Experience with generation, energy storage or other grid-connected assets.
Understanding of power system modelling and network studies.
Experience within an energy company, IPP, utility, consultancy or network environment.
