Senior Account Executive, Outbound

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive, Outbound, the most experienced Account Executive on the team, focused exclusively on winning net-new subscriber logos among the largest, most strategic prospects - enterprise-calibre institutions with complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes - who do not yet subscribe to any PEI Group platform.

Responsibilities:

• Build and work an outbound pipeline of net-new prospect accounts within the Outbound segment.
• Run full-cycle new-business sales: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation and close.
• Use multi-channel outreach — call, email, social, event follow-up — to break into target accounts.
• Qualify and prioritise whitespace using firmographic and market data.
• Mentor Mid-Market and Junior Outbound Account Executives on prospecting technique and deal strategy.
• Hand won accounts off cleanly to Customer Success and the relevant segment Account Executive for onboarding.
• Maintain an accurate, forecast-quality new-business pipeline in the CRM.

About You

Qualification & Experience

• 7+ years of new business/enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally in subscription, media, data or information services.
• Demonstrated ability to build pipeline from cold with little or no inbound support.

Technical Skills

• Strong negotiation and consultative-selling skills.
• Strong executive presence and comfort leading complex, multi-stakeholder new-logo deals with large organisations.

Personal Attributes

• Resilient, self-motivated and comfortable with a high-activity outbound cadence.
• An interest in private markets and private equity, and enthusiasm to learn the asset class.
