Locum Dentist / Tavistock, Devon / Part Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Tavistock, Devon to recruit a Locum Dentist to join their team on a temporary basis.

Position Details:

• Flexible start date.
• Ongoing Locum Dentist required until further notice.
• Part time opportunity, up to 4 days per week.
• Flexible surgery space across Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri 9am-5.30pm.
• Mixed NHS and Private working environment.
• General Dentist required on a self employed basis.
• Opportunity to progress to a permanent role at the practice.

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Day rate available or paid per UDA.
• High demand for private treatments; income paid at 50% split.
• Monthly pay with a one-week notice period.
• In-house training and development opportunities.
• Support from Hygienist and Therapist.
• Dentist will inherit an established list
• Typical earnings for an NHS Dentist range from £50,000 to £140,000 FTE plus private earnings.

• 3 surgery practice with2 Dentists already in situ.
• Practice offers General Dentistry, Short Term Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry.
• Computerised with Digital X-Rays and Rotary Endo.
• Free parking onsite parking.
• Tavistock is situated in the heart of an area of tremendous natural beauty and is the only town in Devon to hold world heritage status. It hosts a range of independent shops, markets, and walking / cycle trails to neighbouring Plymouth. It has direct access to Dartmoor and is close to National Trust properties.
• Commutable from Okehampton, Launceston, and Yelverton.

Requirements:

• GDC registration.
• Active performer number
• Valid DBS check
