Belasko is on an exciting growth journey, and we're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate our expansion within the venture capital market.

This isn't an account management role.

This is a front-line growth role for someone who loves opening doors, building relationships, creating opportunities and winning new business.

You'll be responsible for developing connections with venture capital fund managers, advisers and key market influencers, helping to position Belasko as the trusted partner of choice for fund administration, corporate services and related solutions.

The Role

You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities across the venture capital ecosystem through strategic outreach, networking, events and intermediary relationships.

Working closely with our sales, marketing and sector specialists, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, building market presence and converting relationships into long-term client partnerships.

You'll:

• Build and develop relationships with venture capital fund managers and key decision-makers
• Create and execute targeted business development campaigns
• Develop referral networks with lawyers, consultants, placement agents, accountants and other market influencers
• Attend and host industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Work alongside sector and jurisdiction experts to win new mandates
• Become a recognised face of Belasko within the VC community

What We're Looking For

We're interested in talented relationship builders who are naturally curious, commercially minded and excited by growth.

You'll likely bring:

• Experience in business development, sales, partnerships or relationship management
• Knowledge of the venture capital ecosystem and how venture funds operate
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
• A proactive mindset and a passion for identifying and pursuing opportunities
• Experience managing pipelines and utilising CRM systems

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months, you'll have:

• Built an influential network across the venture capital ecosystem
• Established strong intermediary partnerships that consistently generate opportunities
• Developed a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects
• Become a recognised ambassador for the Belasko brand
• Delivered meaningful growth through new client wins and recurring revenue
