Belasko is growing, and we're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help accelerate our expansion across the private equity and private credit markets.

This is a true business development role for someone who loves opening doors, building relationships and creating new opportunities.

You'll be responsible for building meaningful connections across the private capital ecosystem, developing strategic intermediary relationships and generating high-quality opportunities that drive business growth.

Working closely with our sales, marketing and sector specialists, you'll play a key role in helping shape Belasko's next chapter.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities across the private equity and private credit market.

You will:

• Build relationships with private equity and private credit fund managers and key decision-makers
• Develop referral networks with lawyers, consultants, accountants, placement agents and other intermediaries
• Create and execute targeted business development campaigns
• Identify and engage priority target accounts
• Attend and host industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Work closely with Belasko's sector, sales and jurisdiction specialists to win new mandates
• Act as a brand ambassador for Belasko across the private capital market

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, relationship-driven and motivated by success.

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience in business development, sales, partnerships or relationship-focused roles
• Knowledge of private equity and/or private credit funds and the wider ecosystem
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
• Experience managing pipelines and CRM systems
• A proactive and results-oriented approach to business development
• Existing relationships across private equity, private credit or professional adviser networks
• Experience within fund administration, corporate services, fiduciary services, legal, audit, AIFM or depositary environments
• Knowledge of offshore and international fund structures
• Experience developing intermediary and referral channels

Within your first 12 months, you'll have:

• Built a strong network across the private equity and private credit market
• Established valuable intermediary relationships that consistently generate opportunities
• Created a sustainable pipeline of qualified prospects
• Became a recognised representative of the Belasko brand
• Delivered meaningful new business growth and recurring revenue
• Built strong partnerships across sales, marketing and operational teams to help win as one team
