A profitable, venture-backed crypto infrastructure company is hiring a Rust Systems Engineer to build ultra low latency, high throughput blockchain infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Optimise systems processing tens of thousands of transactions per block
Work on microsecond-level latency components
Improve sorting and simulation pipelines
Profile, optimise, deploy and iterate
Ship code that directly impacts production performance and P&L
Requirements
Strong systems programming in Rust or C/C++ with willingness to switch
Deep understanding of concurrency and lock-free structures
Strong knowledge of CPU cache, memory layout and branch prediction
Experience profiling and optimising performance critical systems
Comfortable owning systems end-to-end
Nice to Have
EVM or blockchain knowledge
Networking optimisation such as kernel stack or XDP
