Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Senior AI Engineer

Humans shouldn't do admin. Machines should.

Why we exist

Every adult loses hundreds of hours a year to admin. Bills they're overpaying. Renewals they forgot. Forms half-filled on a Sunday night. None of it is hard. All of it is exactly the kind of work AI was built for.

We're building the AI that handles it. All of it. So people never have to think about it again.

We're Series A, moving fast, and we intend to build something that becomes part of how the world works. We're saying that out loud because quiet ambition is how most companies talk themselves into being average.

The role

We're building a greenfield AI platform and need a Senior AI Engineer who sits at the intersection of engineering and product — someone who owns features end‑to‑end, uses AI to accelerate delivery, and drives real outcomes, not just shipping code.

This is not a pure development role. It's about applying AI practically to build, ship, and scale something that genuinely changes how people live. You'll report to the Head of Engineering and have direct input into technical direction from day one.

What you'll do

• Own product features and systems end‑to‑end, from scoping through to production
• Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and third‑party integrations
• Contribute to AI‑enabled development practices and tooling across the team
• Define and improve data flows, integration patterns, and system architecture
• Drive automation and efficiency improvements that compound over time
• Act as technical owner — setting standards, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Mentor peers and elevate the technical quality of the broader engineering team

What we need from you

• Strong practical experience applying AI in engineering workflows — not just theory
• 4+ years building software products commercially, with increasing ownership
• Full‑stack comfort — backend, APIs, and frontend when it's needed
• Proven track record in high‑growth or early‑stage startup environments
• Solid grasp of modern engineering practices: CI/CD, testing, design patterns
• Clear communicator who takes initiative, flags blockers early, and owns outcomes
• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

What you’ll get

• ~£100,000 salary
• Real equity, not symbolic — we're building to win
• London hybrid — 3 days in office, with a team worth showing up for
• Greenfield AI platform ownership from day one
• Progression into senior technical or product leadership as we scale
• Peers who make you better just by being around them

You'll own outcomes, not tasks. You'll use AI fluently across everything you build. You'll ship — because B+ live beats A in draft, and speed compounds.

A year here teaches you what five elsewhere won't.
