We’re looking for a organised and confident Sales Support Executive to join our Pricing team to support the end-to-end pricing, tendering and supplier engagement process across Online Direct’s bespoke portfolio.

Working closely with Account Managers and suppliers, you’ll manage pricing requests, tenders and contract requirements, ensuring opportunities are delivered accurately and within agreed timescales. You’ll build strong supplier relationships, secure competitive pricing, and provide a responsive, high quality service for our commercial teams and brokers.

Responsibilities:

Manage bespoke and corporate pricing requests ensuring they are submitted, tracked and delivered within agreed SLAs
Maintain clear visibility of all live tenders and their progress
Build and maintain strong working relationships with supplier pricing and commercial teams
Negotiate competitive pricing and commercially beneficial outcomes
Support supplier engagement initiatives and ongoing relationship development
Gather supplier feedback, market intelligence and pricing insights to support commercial decision making
Support complex opportunities through pricing analysis and commercial recommendations
Work collaboratively with Account Managers to maximise conversion opportunities
Support the production of pricing comparisons, proposal packs and tender recommendations
Monitor workloads and prioritise opportunities effectively
Identify and implement improvements to tendering and pricing processes
Contribute to projects that improve operational performance and broker experience

Person:

At least 1-2 years in an administrative and customer service/support role
Comfortable managing multiple priorities, working to deadlines and ensuring a high level of accuracy
The ability to retain information and build up a good product knowledge base
A confident, friendly and professional telephone manner is required for speaking and building relationships with suppliers
Ability to adapt to difference personality types
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
You will need to be hard working, conscientious, with a positive approach to work and be willing to grow and develop within the role.
Previous experience within the utilities, energy brokers or business service desirable
