Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The position is full time, permanent.

Salary: £51,000.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Shift pattern: Rotating 3 shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am).

Duties

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime.
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems within the manufacturing plant.
• Support equipment installations as required.
• Utilise CMM software for task tracking and maintenance reports.
• Work with the production team to ensure optimum machine performance and minimal disruption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant health & safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands‑on Electrical and Mechanical knowledge.
• Proven experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices
