The Governing Body of Pentre'r Graig Primary School is seeking to appoint an inspirational, committed and forward-thinking Headteacher following the retirement of our highly respected and successful current Headteacher.

Pentre'r Graig Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive and welcoming school at the heart of the Morriston community. Recent inspection findings recognised the school's positive ethos, strong relationships, inclusive practice and commitment to high-quality learning experiences.

The successful candidate will have the vision, passion and leadership skills to build on the school's many strengths and lead the next stage of its development. Working closely with staff, governors, pupils, parents and the wider community, the new Headteacher will continue to promote excellence, wellbeing and high aspirations for all.

• Can inspire, motivate and develop staff to achieve excellence.
• Has a strong commitment to inclusion, equity and meeting the needs of all learners.
• Has the strategic vision and organisational skills to lead change effectively whilst maintaining the school's nurturing ethos.
• Values collaboration and can build productive partnerships with pupils, families, governors, the local authority and wider community.
• Has a secure understanding of Curriculum for Wales and current educational developments.
