Hgv - Class 1 Driver - Days

The Best Connection Manchester is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver (C+E) to join one of our valued clients in the Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for long-term, ongoing work with consistent hours and competitive pay.

If you are a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver , this role offers immediate starts, clean vehicles, and regular work throughout the year.

Pay & Benefits

Class 1 Driver Duties

• General haulage work across the UK
• Multi-drop and trunking deliveries
• Collections and deliveries to distribution centres, warehouses and commercial sites
• Vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring compliance with Driver's Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes
• Good knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and professional attitude
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (desirable)
