An urgent requirement has arisen for experienced Protection & Control Design Engineers with SCADA experience to support the delivery of major National Grid transmission projects.
Key Responsibilities
Protection & Control detailed design for National Grid transmission projects
SCADA integration and interface design
Development of protection philosophies, schematics and detailed design deliverables
Relay settings and logic design
Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Support FEED, tender and construction design phases
Requirements
Protection & Control Design experience on UK transmission projects
SCADA design experience within transmission substations
Detailed Design experience gained with a UK Transmission Owner or UK contractor
Experience working on substations between 132kV and 400kV
Strong understanding of National Grid standards and requirements
