Veterinary Surgeon – Modern Facilities, Partner‑Led Practice – Hertfordshire – Up to £65,000 DOE
A great opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, partner‑led practice in Hertfordshire — recently invested in brand‑new diagnostic equipment and committed to delivering the highest standards of clinical care.
This well‑established, partner‑led small animal practice in Stevenage has recently invested in a brand‑new ultrasound system with 4‑probe scanning capability, alongside a strong existing suite of equipment including digital X‑ray, dental X‑ray, and Doppler and oscillometer blood pressure monitoring. Advanced bronchoscopy and gastroscopy services are also available just 20 minutes away, providing additional diagnostic support when needed.
The practice is collaborative, friendly and genuinely committed to investing in both its facilities and its people. The role will be primarily based at the Stevenage branch, with occasional cover at a nearby branch when required.
This is a full‑time, permanent position for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2–3 years of post‑qualification experience. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
Stevenage is one of Hertfordshire's most commutable towns, with direct trains into London Kings Cross in as little as 23 minutes — making it one of the fastest rail connections to central London from anywhere in the Home Counties. The A1(M) also runs directly through the town, providing excellent road links north and south. Stevenage itself has good local amenities and is surrounded by beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, with St Albans, Cambridge and central London all within easy reach. House prices remain considerably more affordable than many parts of the South East, making it a popular choice for those wanting excellent connectivity without the London price tag.
They are looking for a qualified MRCVS with at least 2–3 years of post‑qualification experience, a genuine passion for clinical excellence and a commitment to outstanding client care. A collaborative team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values, supports and invests in its people. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available for the right candidate.
