Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Application Support Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Application Support Consultant to provide advanced L2/L3 support, administration and continuous improvement across a Microsoft 365 environment. This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, platform support and maintaining existing business applications rather than pure development.

Working alongside an in-house M365 Developer, you will help manage BAU support activities, resolve complex technical issues and support the ongoing enhancement of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support across Microsoft 365 services, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues relating to permissions, access, document management, search and site functionality.
  • Investigate escalated incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
  • Support and maintain existing SharePoint applications, intranet sites and business-critical solutions.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID (Azure AD) and related security and compliance features.
  • Manage user access, licensing, groups and permissions across the M365 estate.
  • Support Microsoft Teams administration, governance and collaboration-related issues.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate and API-based integrations.
  • Produce technical documentation, support guides and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Work closely with business users and stakeholders to identify and deliver service improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online support experience.
  • Experience operating at L2/L3 support level.
  • Microsoft Teams and Entra ID administration knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of permissions, access management and M365 governance.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint-based business applications.
  • Power Platform experience, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • API and integration troubleshooting experience.
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
