Client Portfolio Manager – Private Credit, Senior Associate / Associate Director

LocationLondon, United Kingdom## About This Role**Role Overview**Barings, a global asset manager with $61bn of commitments to its Global Direct Lending platform, is hiring a Client Portfolio Manager for its Private Credit team in London. This Senior Associate / Associate Director-level role reports to the Managing Director, Client Portfolio Management - Private Credit, and works primarily in support of Barings' Global Direct Lending business, which originates senior secured loans to sponsor-backed companies in the core middle market.**Key Responsibilities**- Serve as a supporting business development liaison for Barings' European Private Credit capabilities- Communicate investment strategies internally and externally to grow assets under management in regional private debt funds- Contribute to scheduled and ad-hoc updates on Private Credit market performance and levels- Support preparation of, and participate in, meetings with current and prospective clients- Collaborate on client proposals (RFPs) and due-diligence questionnaires (DDQs)- Oversee creation of marketing material, including fact sheets and pitch books- Contribute to and review client reporting materials and respond to reporting inquiries- Participate in product development initiatives for the Private Credit business**About Barings**Barings' Private Debt platform seeks differentiated sources of return across direct lending, infrastructure debt, capital solutions, portfolio finance, asset-based finance, and private placements, and has raised over $11bn of capital over the last 12 months (as of June 30, 2026).**Location**London - Full-time
