Cloud Engineer– Microsoft, Intune & Infrastructure (m/w/d)

Location: Cologne/Bonn Area
Hybrid: Up to 50% Home Office
Salary: €45,000–€55,000

The Company

Our client is an established international organisation within the transport and logistics sector , operating business-critical services across Europe.

Technology plays a central role in its day-to-day operations, supporting both corporate users and operational employees working across an international network. They are now strengthening their internal IT team with a Systems Engineer focused on Microsoft infrastructure, endpoint management and IT operations.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on position combining Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows infrastructure , with a particular focus on Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management .

You’ll work across both infrastructure and operational IT, supporting users while contributing to projects, migrations and the continued development of the company's Microsoft environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and develop Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID environments.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and file/print services .
• Manage and optimise Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management .
• Manage the deployment, administration and lifecycle of mobile devices and endpoints.
• Support VMware vSphere/ESXi, Omnissa Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Provide 1st and 2nd-level support and troubleshoot infrastructure and endpoint issues.
• Deliver deployments, migrations, upgrades and lifecycle management activities.
• Support business applications across HR and Finance , including SAP-related environments.
• Manage tickets, IT assets, documentation and knowledge-base content.
• Coordinate external IT service providers and monitor SLAs and service quality.
• Contribute to Incident, Request and Change Management and wider IT process improvements.
• Participate in the company's 24/9 on-call programme .

Your Profile

• Several years of experience within Microsoft systems administration / IT infrastructure .
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server and Active Directory .
• Good hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Mobile Device Management .
• Experience with VMware, Horizon or Azure Virtual Desktop would be advantageous.
• Understanding of IT service management / ITIL principles .
• Comfortable combining technical administration, user support and project work .
• SAP, HR or Finance application exposure would be beneficial but isn't essential.
• Strong service mentality and confident communicating with both technical and non-technical users.
• Structured, solution-oriented and able to remain effective in time-sensitive situations.
• German: C1 minimum .
• English skills are beneficial within the international environment.
