Escalator Engineers

Future Opportunities

As an Escalator Engineer trainee, you could work alongside qualified engineers to:

• Support escalator servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Complete inspections and minor repairs
• Follow KONE's safety and quality standards
• Build positive relationships with customers and site teams
• Complete training and assessments towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification

You may be an improver or part-qualified engineer with:

• Practical mechanical, electrical or maintenance experience
• Relevant tools, technical knowledge and hands-on ability
• A safety-conscious and customer-focused approach
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• The motivation to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification
• Lift or escalator experience would be helpful, but relevant transferable experience will also be considered.
