Business Development Manager - Field Based

This field-based position covers Birmingham and surrounding areas, recruiting a Business Development Manager to drive growth within parcels, logistics and e-commerce. The successful candidate will hunt new accounts, build a qualified pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing, working autonomously to develop their territory. Key Responsibilities

• Generate and win new business opportunities
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting to close
• Develop relationships with key decision makers
• Deliver presentations and commercial proposals
• Negotiate and win new customer contracts
• Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets

About You

• Proven success within business development or field sales
• Experience within logistics, parcels, courier, fulfilment or e-commerce sectors is advantageous
• Strong track record of winning new business
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Commercially driven and target-focused
• Comfortable generating opportunities through proactive outreach
• Full UK Driving Licence
