This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of product quality, continuous improvement and quality compliance within a high technology manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on ISO 7 cleanroom operations.
Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the company's Quality Management Systems whilst working closely with Production, Process Engineering and other departments to promote a strong quality culture.
Responsibilities as an Quality Engineer in Andover.
Supporting compliance across AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 7 cleanroom standards.
Developing and maintaining Quality Manufacturing Plans and PFMEAs.
Supporting the development and review of cleanroom procedures, SOPs and assembly instructions.
Conducting internal audits, quality spot checks and inspections across production.
Leading investigations into product quality issues, including containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Using problem solving methodologies including 8D, CAPA and 5 Whys.
Monitoring cleanroom performance and ensuring personnel adhere to cleanroom procedures and best practice.
Requirements as an Quality Engineer in Andover.
A HNC or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline would be advantageous, particularly Electronics Engineering, as would a Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt.
Internal auditing against ISO 9001, AS9100D or ISO 13485.
