Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Gas Engineer for a well-established and growing Social Housing Contractor. Due to continued expansion, the business is strengthening its Gas Team, presenting a great opportunity to join a successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas boilers, cookers, and gas fires
Carrying out annual gas safety checks in occupied social housing properties
Fault finding and breakdown repairs on domestic gas appliances
Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations
Completing job sheets, certificates, and compliance documentation accurately
Providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants
Working independently to manage daily workloads and appointments
Requirements
ACS Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (or equivalent)
Proven experience working on boilers, cookers, and gas fires
Previous experience within social housing or domestic gas work preferred
Full UK driving licence
Strong knowledge of gas safety and industry compliance standards
