Shillito Group are working with an established manufacturing business in Hull to recruit a Quality Engineer.

This is a hands on quality role, working across production, engineering and supply chain to help maintain standards, investigate issues and improve processes.

The role

• Investigating non conformances and quality issues
• Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Maintaining and improving the QMS
• Working with suppliers on quality performance
• Supporting inspections, product verification and new projects
• Helping drive continuous improvement across the business

What they're looking for

• Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing
• Good understanding of ISO 9001
• Experience with audits, non-conformances and root cause analysis
• Comfortable working with engineering and production teamsA practical, problem-solving approachExperience within engineering, marine, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
