Senior AI Engineer, Real-Time Location Intelligence

Mapbox seeks a senior software engineer to own cross‑team AI initiatives across Search, Places, and Platform data work. You will define how products should work, build evaluation systems for non‑deterministic behavior, and gate changes on regression results.

You will run continuous evaluations of APIs, SDKs, data representations, and reference apps from the end user perspective. You’ll balance technical perfection with shipping incremental value.
