What You'll Be Doing
Developing robust Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
Building scalable backend services using Rust, Python, or Go
Designing and consuming web APIs and modern software architectures
Working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges
Developing proof-of-concept applications and rapidly iterating as requirements evolve
Participating in code reviews and driving engineering best practices
Contributing to secure software delivery within highly secure environments
What We're Looking For
Strong commercial Kotlin development experience
Android application development expertise
Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
Understanding of MVVM, UDF, OpenAPI, APIs, and software design principles
Exposure to backend development using Rust, Python, or Go
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt quickly, learn new technologies, and thrive in fast-paced environments
Desirable Experience
Jetpack Compose
Secure development practices
DevOps and cloud-native technologies
Experience delivering software within Defence, National Security, or other highly regulated environments
