Electrical Design Engineer

Our products Systems are designed to avoid wasting energy, improve process reliability and bring more innovation in markets such as UV Disinfection for food and beverage production and fast, high temperature heating Solutions for the Composites industry.

The Primary Responsibilities Of The Role Are As Follows

• Lead systems electrical designs.
• Hands-on approach in the implementation of designs.
• Support product development of xenon flashlamp systems.
• Support existing products in the field.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Liaise with sub-contract suppliers.

Essential

Knowledge and Experience:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience
• Experience in electrical system design (IEC 60204-1)
• Experience in safety design (ISO 13849-1 & 13849-2)
• Experience in fault-finding.
• Good organisation in revision control / documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• Experience in commissioning systems (FAT & SAT)
• Experience in high voltage design (IEC )
• Experience in E-Plan
• Experience in sizing capacitors.
• Experience in supervision of system builds.
• Experience in developing and trouble-shooting PLC / HMI programs.
• Proficiency in Siemens PLC / HMI programs.
• Proficiency in ladder logic
• Good organisation in coding / commenting.
