You will play a key role in the redevelopment of an existing software console application, creating a modern, maintainable and verifiable solution from the ground up. • Design and develop a new software console application using C++ and Qt.
• Define and implement robust software architecture for a long-term strategic product.
• Work throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to verification and validation.
• Produce clear technical documentation to support development and certification activities.
• Collaborate with systems, integration and verification teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Contribute ideas around new tools, technologies and development approaches to improve engineering efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong software engineering background with an understanding of system-level impacts.
• Commercial experience developing applications in C++ and Qt.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a wider team.
