Section Engineer

SECTION ENGINEER - POWER PROJECT - NORTH EAST - CONTRACT (Inside IR35)

Previous experience on nuclear, power stations, energy plants or any other major industrial project, would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage thesetting out and as-built records
• Support the Site engineering team in all of their duties.
• Support the coordination of materials, equipment, and workforce on site
• Deliver clear and timely updates on project progress and performance
• Prepare and manage quality assurance documentation including ITPs, inspections, NCRs, and TQs
• Maintain site diaries and project records
• Assist with weekly planning and performance tracking (KPIs)
• Contribute to safety documentation including RAMS, temporary works briefs, permits, and incident reports
• Oversee weekly commercial reporting including waste management
• Reconcile labour and plant usage

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (BSc/HND/HNC); working towards MICE or IStructE membership is a plus
• Valid CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certification
• Proficient in BIM systems on large-scale projects
• Recent experience working on major industrial schemes (e.g. power stations, nuclear facilities, oil & gas) with Tier 1 UK contractors
