Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Nuclear, Hybrid

Assystem, Switch On in Bolton, United Kingdom, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop fluid systems for nuclear projects. You will report to the Turbine Island Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and the supply chain to deliver robust system designs.

You will produce 2D CAD drawings (PFD, P&ID) and 3D CAD/BIM models, perform layout optimisation, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with safety factors, standards and project requirements.
