Maintenance Engineer Role

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across high-speed automated production machinery.

You'll be responsible for:

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Fault-finding across automated production machinery
Working with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors and other manufacturing equipment
Responding to breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and improving equipment reliability
Working closely with Production and Engineering teams
Maintaining high standards of health & safety

About You

Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food, automotive or another automated environment
Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
Strong experience across PPM, reactive and breakdown maintenance
Experience with production machinery and automated equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
An engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent
PLC experience is advantageous but not essential

Maintenance Engineer Shift Pattern

Monday-Friday rotating 3-shift pattern
8-hour shifts across mornings, lates and nights
No weekends
