Contract: Fixed-term 2-3 years, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Handle staffing and human resources matters, including recruitment, appointments, personnel reviews, and leave administration.
• Manage the financial operations, including purchase requisitions, procurement, payroll, staff claims, and resource management.
• Coordinate various reports and provide secretarial support to committees.
• Coordinate academic and delegation visits for the Department when required.
• Supervise clerical staff to ensure delivery of quality service.
• Perform ad-hoc or non-routine tasks as assigned.
• Occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years' work experience, preferably in staffing/finance administration.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese).
• High levels of communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good level of IT knowledge and ability to work independently.
• Good team player and fast learner with ability to handle multi-tasks under tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and leadership ability.
