My client are a family-run HVAC business looking for a skilled Senior Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team in order to build a team in Surrey. What you'll be doing
Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Leading Split installations, with scope to contribute to larger commercial HVAC projects
Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults using schematics, technical drawings, and manuals
Carrying out routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently and reliably
Keeping accurate records of work carried out, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades
Ensuring all work meets health & safety regulations and industry standards
What we're looking for
Proven experience installing and maintaining air conditioning systems, especially Single-Split, Multi-Split and Sky Air systems, experience in VRV will be considered as advantage.
Solid mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment, and understanding the technical aspects from installations to maintenance.
Comfortable reading schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools
Working knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to HVAC work
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong customer service skills
Experience in construction or industrial repair environments is a plus, but not essential
Required licences/certifications
Full UK driving licence
F-Gas certification
