Heating Engineer / Plumber

This is a maintenance-focused role working in occupied residential properties. We are not a volume installation company. Jobs are scheduled realistically and carried out properly.

To be considered, you must have:

• At least 5 years’ experience in reactive domestic plumbing and heating maintenance
• Strong diagnostic experience in occupied residential properties
• Verifiable references

If you do not meet this requirement, please do not apply.

The Role

You will work independently across London carrying out a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance works in occupied homes and tenanted properties.

Plumbing Works

• Diagnosing and repairing leaking taps, mixers and cartridges
• Shower fault-finding (thermostatic faults, low pressure, temperature issues)
• Toilet repairs (flush valves, inlet valves, syphons, ball valves)
• Investigating visible and concealed leaks
• Pipework alterations and remedial upgrades
• Hot and cold water pressure and flow issues
• Waste pipe blockages to basins, showers, baths and kitchens

Heating Works

• Boiler diagnostics, servicing and repairs
• Domestic gas appliance work
• Zone valves, pumps, expansion vessels and heating controls
• Unvented and vented cylinders
• System pressure and water quality issues

Light installation work may be required, but this is primarily a maintenance and fault-finding role.

• £42,000 – £48,000 salary (depending on experience)
• Company pension
• Company van (fuel included for work use)
• Mobile phone provided
• Realistic job scheduling — time to diagnose properly
• Well-structured processes and digital job management systems
• Long-term, maintenance-focused client base
• Opportunity to progress within a structured and well-run company
