Commercial Gas Engineer - Plant Rooms Only - Social Housing Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team responsible for maintaining approximately 40 plant rooms across the Harlow area.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Service and repair commercial gas plant
Attend breakdowns and reactive maintenance calls
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
What's on Offer?
Basic salary up to £60,000
Company van and fuel card
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
Local Harlow-based patch
Overtime paid at time and a half after 5pm
Call-out rota of 1 week in 2
£50 payment per call-out attended
Any call-out exceeding one hour paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Long-term social housing contract
Plant room work only - no domestic work within flats
Requirements
Valid Commercial Gas qualifications
Previous experience servicing and repairing commercial heating systems
Experience working within plant rooms
Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
Full UK driving licence
