Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across automated production machinery
• Diagnose and fault‑find electrical and mechanical systems
• Record maintenance activity using the CMMS system
• Support continuous improvement projects to increase reliability and reduce downtime
• Work closely with Production and Engineering colleagues to maximise plant performance
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and engineering compliance

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or be time‑served
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC or HNC in Engineering
• Strong electrical fault‑finding and maintenance experience
• Previous experience within food manufacturing or another fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative engineering team

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the site’s highly automated production equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.
