Employment Associate – National Law Firm - Salary up to £80,000
I’m working with a highly regarded, award‑winning national law firm that is looking to expand its Employment team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join a Chambers & Legal 500 ranked team with a strong reputation across the UK.
As part of this growing team, you’ll work on a wide range of contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, including:
Defending Employment Tribunal claims for high‑profile clients
Advising on disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and restructures
Supporting corporate deals, TUPE matters, and outsourcing arrangements
Drafting employment contracts, settlement agreements, and policies
Building strong relationships with major employers in retail, financial services, and the public sector

About You
Qualified Solicitor with 1+ years PQE in Employment law
Experience acting for employers/respondents on a broad range of issues
Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
Interest in business development and client relationship management
