Overview

This role focuses on the commissioning of diesel generators , ensuring they are installed, configured, and tested to meet operational and safety requirements. The position involves pre-installation checks, on-site commissioning, system integration, functional testing, and handover to clients. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the generators are ready for service from day one, working closely with project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Commission diesel generators, including electrical and mechanical checks.
Configure and program generator control systems (DSE, ComAp).
Conduct functional tests, including load bank testing.
Integrate generators with related systems such as UPS and ATS panels.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning.
Complete commissioning reports and client handover documentation.
Liaise with clients and project teams to coordinate commissioning activities.

Education And Experience Requirements

HNC/Technical qualifications in mechanical/electrical or a related field (ideal).
Experience in generator maintenance and servicing.
Knowledge of Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) and ComAp control systems.
Hands-on experience with alternators and load bank testing.
Ability to perform mechanical and electrical inspections.
Willingness to travel and work off-site.
