Volunteering Development Team Lead

Inspiring, recruiting, and supporting amazing volunteers! Our Volunteering Development Team ensures that every volunteer has the skills, confidence, and support they need to make a real difference in young people’s lives.

Are you passionate about people? As the Volunteering Development Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in attracting and supporting the incredible volunteers who make Scouts happen. From recruiting new talent to ensuring existing volunteers feel valued and equipped, your work will help create a strong, skilled, and motivated team.

You’ll lead on identifying opportunities to bring new volunteers into Scouts, provide guidance on training and development, and champion recognition—because a ‘thank you’ goes a long way! Your team will offer practical support, share best practices, and make sure every volunteer gets the most out of their experience.

If you love spotting potential, helping others grow, and making a lasting impact, this role is for you!
