Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET / Automation / SET)

A globally renowned fintech is building a brand-new Test Automation function —and you could be leading it.

We’re looking for strong developers who love testing — not testers who code a bit. This is a ground-up opportunity to define strategy, build tooling , and drive quality at scale across distributed teams.

What You’ll Do

Build custom automation frameworks and tooling (FE, BE, API)

Improve platform testability at an architectural level

Influence CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and Shift Left practices

Collaborate with engineers, architects & product

Balance risk-based manual and automated testing

What You Bring

• 7+ yrs CI/CD, automation, and database knowledge
• Proven ability to build, not just use, test automation tools
• Critical thinking, adaptability & strong problem-solving skills
• Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments

Lead a new test automation vision

Work in an empowered, engineering-led culture

Shape future-ready fintech products for merchants

Please note: You must have permanent eligibility to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants on a Visa.
