The Opportunity

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a well-paid, Monday-to-Friday days role with no nights and no rotating shifts ?

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Eccles, Greater Manchester .

This is a hands-on engineering position offering plenty of variety, where you'll be responsible for keeping machinery and equipment running efficiently through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining the site's machinery and minimising downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Responding to reactive breakdowns and carrying out fault-finding
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out routine inspections, servicing and repairs
Investigating equipment failures and implementing solutions
Completing maintenance records and documentation
Supporting continuous improvement projects
Working closely with production and engineering teams
Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

An Engineering qualification - Minimum level 3
Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
